About Our Speakers
Barry Nalebuff, Professor, Yale School of Management, Entrepreneur and PepsiCo’s “Chief Trouble Maker” teaches negotiation, innovation and game theory at Yale School of Management. He also practices what he preaches. In 1998, Barry and former student Seth Goldman cofounded Honest Tea – now owned by Coca-Cola and with sales of more than 2 billion bottles. Also the cofounder of Kombrewcha (now part of AB-Inbev) and Maker Oats (PepsiCo), Barry has coauthored six books, including Thinking Strategically, Co-opetition and Mission in a Bottle: The Honest Guide to Doing Business Differently—and Succeeding.
Cindi Bigelow, President and CEO of Bigelow Tea, continues to expand the value, accessibility and impact of the business her grandmother founded in 1945. Still a family-owned company, it’s the US market leader of specialty teas, producing more than 2 billion tea bags annually. Both business and community-minded, Cindi has received many awards for her years of service. She especially enjoys sharing her insights on business ethics and career development with students and industry leaders.
Lawrence Ford, CEO and Founder of Conscious Capital Wealth Management, has been called the “Shaman of Wall Street” by the Washington Post, a “Man of Two Worlds” by The Economist magazine, “The Finance Guru” by NPR and “The Spiritual Advisor” by the Retirement Income Journal. Dedicated to bridging the modern world of business and the ancient world of wisdom, he helps people and companies move into their authentic power and leverage the power of money to help make the world a better place.
Gavin Watson, VP of Manufacturing and Maintenance, Watson, is a third generation leader of this family business started in 1939. Since then, it has become one of the highest-quality suppliers of products and services to enhance health and nutrition. Gavin holds degrees in psychology and religious studies, and is an avid reader of books on psychology, happiness and human organizations. As Watson’s “Head Human Ecologist,” he has led efforts to improve operations, reduce energy consumption, protect the environment and support the overall health and well-being of its employees.
