The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. Successful candidates will be highly organized and detail-oriented; and excel at juggling multiple responsibilities. We encourage diverse and non-traditional applicants and facility in a second language is given strong consideration. A positive attitude and collaborative spirit are highly valued.
The Executive Assistant reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the following:
· Managing the organization calendar and the CEO’s calendar
· Scheduling meetings and calls
· Liaison to the Board of Directors
· General administrative support
This position is full time. Evening and weekend hours are sometimes required if the candidate chooses to work at concerts. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits include health insurance, free family tickets to concerts, and a flexible, family-friendly work environment.
