    The Senior Associate Scientist/Scientist/Scientist II contributes both technical and intellectual expertise towards the development of antibody therapeutics against targeting cancer and chronic diseases. This position will design, execute, analyze and interpret experiments using in-vitro and ex-vivo assays to support antibody discovery, lead identification and characterization, and translational research efforts for clinical development candidates.

    Responsibilities

    • Experience with developing in vitro cell-based and biochemical assays using methods such as ELISA, flow cytometry, MSD, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation is highly desired
    • Experience in molecular and cellular immunology, immunophenotyping and primary immune cell culture is highly desired
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
    • Will have ownership of several projects. Must have high self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications

    • BS/MS degree in biological sciences or similar area
    • 3+ years of industry experience in research
    • Prior experience in the development of monoclonal antibody and/or other biologic drug candidates is a plus
    • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including RNA isolation, PCR, vector and primer design, DNA, protein and antibody sequence analysis, recombinant protein expression.
